For Spring/Summer 2008 Hardy Amies London presents a contemporary menswear collection offering not only the sophisticated tailoring with which the house is synonymous but also modern casual wear that hints at sartorial sub-cultures of the past. References are diverse with inspiration coming from Teddy Boy styling, 80's slouchy tailoring and archive Hardy Amies, namely his 1960's catwalk shows at the Savoy Hotel, London.
Modern shirting styles with a look to the past and Rock & Roll references appear with tiny cutaway and tab collars, roll up sleeves and skinny concealed plackets - complimented by in-house designed graphic prints and checks in linen and fine cotton.
