Measurement Guide

Put on a jacket that fits you well and have a friend measure the below.

Centre Back Length – the seam which runs down the centre back of a jacket, from the base of the neck, to the hemline of the jacket.

Chest – from 2.5cm below the armpit, across the chest, to the other armpit.

Sleeve Length – from the top of the shoulder (at the seam where the sleeve meets the body of the jacket) to the end of the cuff, following the natural shape of the sleeve along the outside edge.

Tip from the tailor – “All measurements should be taken standing in a relaxed posture with the tape measure held comfortably around the body. If possible ask someone to take measurements for you. If you have a jacket that fits you well, you can use this as a guide during your fitting.”
