Measurement Guide

Put a jacket on that you know fits you well and have a friend measure the below.

Centre Back Length – This is the seam which runs down the centre back of a jacket from the base of the neck to the hemline of the jacket.

Chest – from the centre back round the fullest part of the body to the front opening of the jacket placing the tape measure loosely under the armpits and over the shoulder blades at the back. Sleeve Length - from the top of the shoulder at the seam where the sleeve meets the body of the jacket to the end of the cuff following the natural shape of the sleeve along the outside edge.

Tip from the tailor – “All measurements should be taken standing in a relaxed posture with the tape measure held comfortably around the body. If possible ask someone to take measurements for you. If you have a jacket that fits you well you can use this as a guide during your fitting.”
